Established in 2014 along the quiet shores of Playa de Coco on Mexico's remarkable Costalegre, Villa Star of the Sea has intoduced, outside of our hotel business model, Costalegre Living, created with a simple vision, to offer a peaceful, long term, oceanfront living where comfort, privacy, and a slower pace of life could still be experienced naturally, reasonably priced, outside of the hotel business model pricing, at reasonable long term pricing.

What began as a small beachfront property has gradually evolved into a unique collection of thoughtfully designed one and two-bedroom apartment suites and hotel-style accommodations, carefully integrated into the natural beauty of the Pacific coast. Rather than creating a large commercial resort environment, the focus has always remained on spacious living, tranquility, and a more personal connection to the surroundings.

At Costalegre Living, the experience is intentionally different. The rhythm of the ocean replaces the pace of city life. Days begin with pelicans gliding across the shoreline and end with sunsets over Playa de Coco.
