Mountainbike
In and around Salobrena there are many pleasant and easy trails crossing sugar cane fields, empty river beds and the beach on Playa de Granada. For those visitors who need to burn energy on their mountain bikes it is important to know that many interesting trails do start around the villages of La Zubia and Monachil, a little South of Granada.

This combination is unique and sought after, you will be hard pressed to find this in other parts of the Costa del Golf. Needless to say that the weather is nice all year round so you can play in winter as well! Los Moriscos golf has 18 holes.
The Alhambra is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and once you have visited the place you will understand how strong the Moorish impact on Spain over many centuries has been. This place is the eight wonder of the world, overlooking Granada, against the backdrop of snowcapped Sierra Nevada mountain peaks. The Alhambra is simply put the most spectacular monument in Andalusia.
More information can be found at www.andalucia.com/cities/granada/history.htm.
The Albayzin is an old Moorish quarter, where you can smell the old atmosphere of Arabian bazars with merchants, shops, little restaurants and many students from Spain and hippies from all over the world.
We enjoy the scenic views from Plaza San Nicolas, from where you can admire the Alhambra.
Stroll through the streets, stop for a drink with tapas and listen to the sounds of street musicians, stand up comedians, merchants and Spanish families debating with each other.
The concept of quality time gets a totally different meaning in this historical place.
Beaches
From your private villa pool you can see the beach of Salobrena. You can relax at your private pool or enjoy one of Salobrenas beaches. There is a long beach with a boulevard with restaurants, boat rentals and lots of local spaniards. Another nice beach of Salobrena can be found next to the golf course Los Moriscos.
Other popular beaches are located in Almunecar- long boulevard, busy in summertime- and in La Herradura and Marina del Este- more quiet and exclusive- also popular with snorkelers and scuba divers.
